George IV Burr Elm Dressing Table Circa 1825.
This dressing table has a French empire fabric screen that extends 22.5 inches higher than the surface of the table.
The table measures 20 inches wide by 15.5 inches deep by 27.5 inches tall.
This can easily be french, the gallery, lock and casters seem British.
The drawer construction seems to be more likely English and the figured burr elm used more in England than France but this cold be a piece of French furniture.
